Artwork Description

Acrylic on wood, ready to hang.

Signed on the back.

My work has been highly influenced by the world of commercial art and graphic design. This translates to my art in many ways. My still life paintings are careful composition full of allegories, which capture a moment in time where all represented items are meaningful beyond the composition.

"Butterfly Tea" is one in a series of still life paintings that feature a piece of origami, and other everyday objects.

This painting was created for an art tutorial video commissioned by Wollongong Art Gallery.
NOTE: The video states that the painting is 15cm x 15cm, but that is a typo. The painting is 20cm x 20cm.
