Rainbow Nabiac

This is a small study of a section of double rainbow after a storm in Nabiac. The light was spectacular, coming in in shards of bright green and yellow against the dark grey sky.

My studio is in the middle of my home, We live by the forest, The forest is full of creatures and birds. The house is full of things, dust, art and sometimes creatures as well. My paintings evolve over many hours, sometimes months, building layer upon layer. For me this is the thing that is so wonderful about painting, it's slowness.
