The nasturtiums and calendulas have escaped throughout my garden. Like so many introduced things they are also beautiful, wild and impossible to contain. They sit arranged in a little lustreware swan, another little introduced thing but this one prefers the comfort and shelter of an old glass display cabinet and is rarely used.
Painted in artist quality oils so the colours will not fade.
Varnished with gloss varnish to protect and prevent scratches.
Hand stretched thick cotton canvas on wooden frame.
The edges of the canvas are neatly painted in the same light blue as the main painting, so it does not need to be framed unless you wish to.
