Working within the traditions of Romantic landscape painting, my practice examines the complex interplay between ecology and human intervention. The intersection of wild, wooded edges and manicured lawns at the local reserve highlights my concern with the delicate balance between the natural world and human-centric environmental management.
Using graphite and water on synthetic paper, I investigate the contrast between organic and human-made materials in a world shaped by carbon, water, and microplastics.
