When Michael was younger, he obtained a Diploma in Commercial Art, and with this, he run his own business as a Commercial Artist in Margaret River Western Australia. Leaving this behind and moving to the Sunshine Coast Queensland the focus is only on fine art with an emphasis on traditional values in painting. Michael always looks to design a fantastic composition where the viewer's eye journeys to and around the focal point so the shapes and tonal values come into play with light and shadows and are alert to the colour relationships between the objects and edges.
