Karri trees are unique to south Western Australia. They grow in the forests, along the roadsides and throughout the countryside. These tall eucalyptus trees make great painting subjects, especially in late summer when their bark begins to peel, revealing beautiful reds, pinks and ochres. A textured oil painting rendered using mainly palette knife but with a few brushstrokes to create variation in texture.
Artist quality oil paint on professional grade stretched canvas. The sides are 4cm thick and are painted consistent with the color scheme of the subject.
Signed on the front and includes Certificate of Authenticity.
