A large canvas oil painting of the Kimberley region in the north Western Australian outback. Such an inspiring subject. A place of intense heat, low rainfall and total isolation. A soft hazy light added interest to the subject. My intention was to apply textural strokes, using a palette knife, to capture the character of this rugged, yet beautiful, outback landscape.

Oil painting on stretched canvas. Premium cotton duck 380 attached to a quality pine, double thick, stretcher frame and includes gallery style folded corners. Canvas edges are 4 centimetres thick and they are painted consistent with the color scheme of the subject.
