This painting is inspired after an early morning walk in Medlow Bath, NSW. It was a wet morning and the Waratah's were in full bloom. The contrast of colours with the haunting mist was something that i tried to capture. The painting is acrylic on canvas with a beautiful light wooden frame, complementing each other.

I moved to Sydney in 1989 and from 1999 I lived in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney where I rekindled a passion for landscape art. The diverse flora of the eastern suburbs influenced my palette, drawing me into the colour and magic of Sydney's coastline and surrounds. I love painting with vibrant, vivid tones to capture man's relationship with nature. My family and I are now living in the south coast of NSW. I am surrounded by amazing landscapes that continue to inspire my passion, and I am constantly trying to express this through my art.
