Having lived in Port Douglas, this landscape comes from personal connection as much as observation. The work is influenced by the distinctive colours of the tropics, Its soft palette and sense of space make it well suited to a living area, bedroom or coastal-inspired interior, where it can bring a calm and airy presence to the room.

Hi , Im Michael. I am an Irish artist based in Brisbane. I paint mostly in oils. I do landscapes and portraits in a variety of styles. I love to piant in the studio but I feel most alive when I get to paint outside. I am constantaly evolving and improving my methods.
