The early years of my life were not far from the lovely St Kilda Beach in Melbourne Victoria and in those days my parents didn’t own a car and we spent many weekends walking down to the beach, along the way we would often get some fish and chips and eat them at the St Kilda pier. I just loved this and I was fascinated watching the fishermen catching these beautiful silver fish. My father who was not the slightest bit interested in fishing was in the work social club, they would occasionally hire a charter boat for the day to go fishing and my father would organise someone to look after me for the day on the boat for me it wasn’t about catching a fish it was the adventure of being out at sea on a boat this was the beginning of a life journey of my love for the sea. As I grew older any spare time I had I would head to the coast and fishing was the reason but it was mainly just being out or near the water. I somehow felt there was. Something more that I needed to do which painting sounded like s good idea. It took many years but in 2009 painting foundation me and the rest is history. I’m mainly self taught but have had some wonderful encouraging teachers along the way as well as doing work shops . My focus has mainly been on painting but I’ve had success in exhibiting and selling
