A beautiful scene of ducks enjoying a little swim in a lily pond. I loved painting the vibrant blues and greens in the water, but the most satisfying part was painting the bright orange bills on the ducks.

Hello everyone, my name is Michael Morgan and I am a passionate artist living with a disability from the Sunshine Coast, Australia.
Art is my passion. My purpose. My everything. It is what gets me through each day and is a real source of motivation in times of need. I am a self-taught artist who is heavily inspired by the impressionist and post-impressionist movement. My journey into art began after being diagnosed with a rare and incurable auto-immune disease. Art became my source of comfort, escapism and companionship. I had found a way of being able to express all my inner emotions onto a canvas in a way that my body was no longer able to due to the debilitating nature of my condition. Art has enabled me a freedom to travel and explore imaginary worlds that bring me immense pleasure in life’s darkest days.
