Full Moon Campfire

Following on with my current love of capturing moments in the outback, this scene depicts a few Stockmen sat around the campfire under the light of a full moon. A couple horses resting in the background and their loyal cattle dog companion is keeping warm whilst still on watch keeping an eye on the landscape. Painted with oil on stretched Belgian linen, this is a perfect piece to warm up any home.

Art is my passion. My purpose. My everything. It is what gets me through each day and is a real source of motivation in times of need. I am a self-taught artist who is heavily inspired by the impressionist and post-impressionist movement. My journey into art began after being diagnosed with a rare and incurable auto-immune disease. Art became my source of comfort, escapism and companionship. I had found a way of being able to express all my inner emotions onto a canvas in a way that my body was no longer able to due to the debilitating nature of my condition. Art has enabled me a freedom to travel and explore imaginary worlds that bring me immense pleasure in life’s darkest days.
