Here I wanted to capture the feeling of nostalgia. That feeling of when we were young and would run outside to play before the sun went down. Warm ochre tones capture the late afternoon sun setting while kids are playing their last game of cricket. Framed in a handmade light timber frame, this is a lovely little piece to warm up any room.

Hello everyone, my name is Michael Morgan and I am a passionate artist living with a disability from the Sunshine Coast, Australia.
Art is my passion. My purpose. My everything. It is what gets me through each day and is a real source of motivation in times of need. I am a self-taught artist who is heavily inspired by the impressionist and post-impressionist movement. My journey into art began after being diagnosed with a rare and incurable auto-immune disease. Art became my source of comfort, escapism and companionship. I had found a way of being able to express all my inner emotions onto a canvas in a way that my body was no longer able to due to the debilitating nature of my condition. Art has enabled me a freedom to travel and explore imaginary worlds that bring me immense pleasure in life’s darkest days.
