I am a professional artist with a demonstrated history in art making. I work across all mediums but majored in painting.
When I was a child my mother used to take me to the ocean. Originally coming from Gippsland she regarded the fresh ocean air as a tonic for the body and the soul. I have inherited that belief and spend a lot of time creating work at Western Port Bay. I am a practising artist who is grateful to have received grants and awards (that include NAVA and Arts Victoria)to pursue my passion. I have also worked as a freelance artist completing many mosaic Commissions for restaurants . Some highlights include working with the whole of the primary school for Scotch College's 150th anniversary and Starry,Starry night MLC 120th anniversary. I have also had the privilege to work part time in language centres teaching refugees and new arrivals from many different countries.
I have been a finalist in many National Exhibition Art Awards and my work has been collected by Monash University, Stonnington council ,Firestation Print Workshop and the Australian Print Council.
