The canvas is textured from layers of paint with the bottle brushes in orange bottle painting with oil paint. The autumn months and flowering bottle brushes inspired this painting. The colours and rich texture give a sense of warmth to any room.

I am happily painting full time now after teaching art to children of all ages and adults for 26 plus years. My love of nature and people are my biggest inspirations and I mostly do acrylic and oils on canvas or board. I have attended numerous workshops over the years and also delivered workshops to others. I love impressionism, especially when intermixed with abstraction along with printmaking. Painting, drawing, mixed media and art making of all kinds has been my passion since I was very young. I will keep attending workshops as I find this very inspirational and enhances my art practice and helps develop my work . I have been not exhibited my work much due to full time work and now want to show my art work to a wider community.
