Michelle is an Australian abstract artist, who uses painting & drawing as part of an interweaved process of digging, releasing & storytelling. In her intuitive art practice, materials, colours, textures, gestural marks, and spatial relationships, are used to intuitively process and represent experience - often finding what her subconscious & spirit have to say far more interesting. Her art has been described as 'worlds within worlds'. Other times, affection for her art is purely visceral and beyond words.
Currently working and exhibiting in the Inner West of Sydney, Michelle presented a solo exhibition 'maker:giver:witness' in Summer Hill, Oct 2025, and 'Love Letters for Hard Times' in Lewisham, April 2025. A collection of her paintings & mixed media work were also shown in several group exhibitions at Monster Mouse Studios in Marrickville, in 2023/2024.
