Born and raised in Sydney, Michelle Golding studied Visual Arts at the University of Melbourne, developing a strong foundation in ceramics. She spent many years exploring both hand-built and wheel-thrown forms before gradually shifting her focus from three-dimensional work to painting, particularly watercolour and acrylics.
Her creative practice has encompassed education, commissioned artworks and independent artistic exploration. Her work is held in private collections in Australia as well as internationally, including New Zealand, France, Canada, the USA and Japan.
More recently, Michelle has extended her creative practice into illustration, stationery and surface pattern design, with her designs represented across a range of commercial products and platforms.
