This painting is a representation of the Sunshine Coast hinterland with rambling roads, farmland, overflowing dams, industrial tracts and areas of wild forest. While driving to Maleny in early 2023 the rain made the green trees and ground appear lush and glossy. This piece is finished with an acrylic gloss varnish to enhance this feeling. This painting is acrylic on stretched canvas in a solid oak frame.
