These 2 paintings are full of texture, smoothness and mixed with oil pastels. Layers are hidden and revealed. After painting the first painting I knew it wasn’t finished - it sat in my studio for a number of weeks before I realised it needed a partner and so I started the reverse version. They look like 2 halves of a whole. Please note that there are 2 separate paintings which are intended to be hung together. Each are separately framed in solid timber.
