Magic Marbles

This Artwork is of Karlu Karlu known as Devils Marbles, located in the Northern Territory, Australia. Drawing inspiration from the shapes of the landscape along with the rich ochre rocks and the blue skies, these ancient rock formations are magnificent. Walking among the rock formations you cannot help but feel a presence of energy all around, with the rocks seeming to defy gravity.

I have been lucky to live and travel many parts of Australia developing a deep appreciation for the diversity and richness of the Australian landscape. My passion for painting is cultivated by my love of colour and design and my happy place when I am not enjoying time with my children is creating in my art space. I love the Northern Territory where I have lived now for more than 25 years finding the lifestyle and environment a perfect place to explore and shape my identity as an artist. Bold and simple designs with strong energetic colours are very appealing to me with my application of colour along with the story of my paintings being a reflection of myself as I travel my journey in this life. Looking forward I have a growing desire to take a much more relaxed approach with an aspiration to plan less, experiment more and enjoy the ride.
