Between two worlds is a staging of creative loves and a reflection of my heritage. As an immigrant to Australia from South Africa, I use still life painting as a way to contemplate past and present influences in the methodical actions of layering up a painting. It in many ways helps me stay connected to those far away as I dance between two words.
