I’m a Queensland artist. I'm self taught. I started out in hospitality, followed by cabinet-making in London, carpentry in Wales, signage designing and children’s book illustrating in New Zealand and artist in Queensland since 2004.
My first love is detailed drawing and sketching, which I did from early childhood. I was encouraged to paint by my dear Aunt in UK, who lent me her paints and brushes.
I work in Acrylic and cover both abstract, impressionist and traditional.
My partner and I published 'Meg A. Feather and the Forest Games', an illustrated children’s book about a young Kiwi chick in 2005.
In 2013, I joined a small group of artists in outback Ruby Gap in the MacDonnall Ranges, to paint the spectacular blue skies, Ghost Gums and rusty cars. I’m inspired by the vivid colours of the outback Australian landscape, hinterland and the stunning blues of the Sunshine Coast and Moffat Beach.
