How does Mike get inspiration for his art works? He runs through the mountains. Yes, he is a marathon runner, but ultimately, he is an artist.
Mike lives in Melbourne and he loves so much about the natural beauties, the animals and the city. Unlike the other artists, Mike likes running from mountain to mountain, from beach to peak. Most of the time, he was in remote areas, where not even reachable by driving. Thus, he saw so many things which other people may never see in their lives, and it forms his specific painting style.
He said : “ I was a born artist, and I want to paint every place where I had been because of the amazing people or the things happened to me in my life.”
Mike has travelled to many countries in Europe, America and Asia, from the Alps to California beach, from the Great wall to Bangkok’s raining streets. He keeps on painting and painting, no matter where and when, for 30 years.
Mike settled down in Melbourne in 2010, then he attended many art shows in Victoria such as Camberwell art show, Moonee Ponds art show etc and sold many his painting works, and also worked as commissioned artist for some organisations.
