Mike Lomas is a contemporary Australian fine art painter. Born in the UK, Mike completed a BA(Hons) in Fine Art Painting and Art History from Kingston School of Art in London.
Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula has been his inspiration and home since 2000.
Dynamic and instantly engaging, Mike’s paintings create an intriguing visual indulgence of unpredictable, shifting planes and a fluid harmony of intrinsic colour. His works are a direct product of the connection and relationship with his immediate environment, exploring a fascination with nature's fluid perfection.
Mike paintings have appeared in numerous solo, group and public space exhibitions in the UK, Melbourne and Mornington Peninsula.
Working predominantly with oil and acrylics but also mixed media.
