Mt Kilimanjaro, 5895 m, The highest point on the African continent rises above the clouds and jungle plains of Tanzania.
With the ever changing equatorial light, volcanic rock radiates a subtle pallet of blue, green and orange hues that compliments the foliage of the jungle approaches. I was intrigued at the changes in light as the sun passes over the equator throughout the day and wanted to portrait a light airy feel to this mountain. The snow cap now distinguishing rapidly gives an almost regale air to this giant of Africa.
