About

Millie lives on Coochiemudlo Island a 5 minute ferry ride from mainland Brisbane. She has been painting for over 35 years and prefers to paint with watercolour, oil and recently pastels. She paints mainly landscape and still life with the occasional abstract piece.

"This island I live on is very special, the opportunities I have over here to paint landscapes and seascapes are never ending, I paint with an ethereal style with lots of light, not deliberately, that just seems to be my style."

Millie is mainly self taught in a technical sense but has a B.A. in Fine Art and a Master of Art Therapy. She lives with her husband and her husky rescue dog.
