I started creating the "Together" series during the lockdowns in 2020.
In the beginning there were 4 plances, representing the four members of my family.
We are together in this, we have each other, we connect with each other. Together, we can do it!
As the series developed, there became 6 planes, 8 planes, 12 planes and more.
My work is informed by the traditions of early to mid-20th century movements and styles such as Bauhaus, Color Field, Op Art and Minimalism.

Knowledge of these traditions has equipped me with more abstract lenses through which to view the world, whereby objects, landscapes, emotions and thoughts transfer into lines, shapes, forms and colours.
