When I lived in London I did a life painting oils class. It was the first time I had done figural painting and I begin to see the human form in a different way .
This piece came out in the process of seeing the body not just for form or function or perversion but as art, as beauty, as creation.
It is intentional to have the figure moving forward. It is not only the greatest perspective but also the only option we have.
