The grevillea flower is a showstopper and one of my favourite native flowers but there is a lot going on around this flower.

This series takes an up close and personal look at those details on this amazing shrub that we might not see while being dazzled by the flowers. There are seed pods, foliage and budding flowers that form the background or the second act.

Using ink and line work I have tried to capture the movement and texture that is often woven into our Australian Native shrubs. Adding little pockets of gold ink to highlight the beauty tucked away beneath the flowers.

This will come to you in a black box frame with perspex. Be sure4 to check the measurements as some of the interior shots may not be to scale.
