My work is about responding to the quiet drama of wilderness, where day and night trade places in an eternally rhythmic cycle. I’m drawn to the remote solitude, the untouched, where time slows down and the land speaks in subtle tones of shifting light and shadow, hidden secrets, stillness and untouched landscapes. The shifting fog wraps itself around the landscape in a protective blanket of cool silence, pooling within the shadows and stretching towards the horizon, eventually swapping places with the cycles of night and day.
