Molly O'Hara is a painter based in South-West Victoria, Australia, working primarily in acrylics. Her practice follows two distinct streams: an exploration of the local landscape and environment, and a deep passion for history, fantasy, and storytelling. Through her work, she creates narratives that move between observation and imagination, drawing inspiration from the places around her as well as the rich worlds of folklore, literature, and the past.
Molly has hosted several solo exhibitions through her own gallery, Sequel, in Geelong. Now based in Colac, she is focused on developing her personal practice from her studio, creating new bodies of work inspired by her rural surroundings and enduring love of story.
