Born in Bundaberg ,Qld and started Art lessons at the age of 8. Art has always been my no 1 interest. After excelling in Art in high school I undertook an apprenticeship in Manufacturing Fine Jewellery, and received my trade qualification at 19 yrs of age.
My goal was always to be an Architect, but then chose to pursue a career in Interior Design. While working as a Designer I continued to paint for pleasure then custom painted for my Interior design clients. Luckily for me both careers involved a huge amount of design, drawing, rendering and an understanding of the effects of Colour.
In 2010 I discovered my love of teaching Art to children, particularly kids on the ASD spectrum. I studied ABA therapy and used some parts of this in conjunction with my experience from my own Art Practice. I have been teaching from my studio now for 11 years and loving it.
the Art I create is not to challenge or shock, but simply to provide beautiful and colourful Artworks for the viewer to simply enjoy the beauty of Nature and everyday objects that I paint.
I have lived in some of the most beautiful places in Queensland, including, Bundaberg, Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Townsville, Cairns, Hervey Bay, Tamborine Mountain and Gold Coast. All of these places have provided me with diverse and amazingly beautiful subjects,
In 2012 I finally got around to studying for my Diploma of Visual Art and thoroughly enjoyed the experience of learning and working with other like minded art lovers.
My work was featured in "Artists Palette" magazine no 164 as Feature Artist, which was a thrill.
My Artworks can be found in private collections in Australia, UK and the US.
