Artwork Description

Grace in Fading Light was inspired by my quiet morning walks during spring — moments when the soft light reveals the fragile beauty of flowers just beginning to fade. I was drawn to the way their petals, though no longer perfect, still held a quiet radiance — a reminder that grace exists even in transition and impermanence.

Through layers of warm tones and delicate brushwork, this work captures the tenderness of fleeting light — a quiet balance between strength and fragility. It reflects an ongoing fascination with nature’s subtle poetry and the emotional echoes it holds within the human experience.

This piece brings presence, confidence, and lasting value.

For the collector, it offers:

A work with recognised exhibition merit

Emotional richness paired with technical mastery

A statement artwork that remains timeless rather than trend-led

Confidence in owning a piece that represents a pivotal moment in the artist’s career

It is a painting that holds both beauty and provenance — something collectors live with proudly and hold onto long-term.

Artist Bio

Art has always been part of my life, even when I didn’t realize it. As a child, my mum would gently hold my hand and take me to summer school, enrolling me in drawing and painting classes. I still remember the joy of winning a school art competition in 3rd grade—though I no longer have the painting, the feeling of being seen and encouraged has never left me.
Years later, after the devastating loss of my mother and the painful end of my career due to traumatic experiences and mental health struggles, I found myself turning back to painting—not just as a creative outlet, but as a lifeline. Art became my way of healing, a space where I could process grief, reconnect with joy, and rediscover the little girl who once painted freely and fearlessly.
When I paint now, I feel as though I’m that child again—safe, curious, and deeply loved. It’s as if my mum is right there with me, guiding my hand just like she used to. My work is a reflection of this journey: tender, emotional, and full of quiet strength. Through each brushstroke, I find a sense of peace and presence—and I hope others feel that too when they connect with my art.
I developed a distinctive style characterised by my love for nature and my paintings often explore themes of freedom, tranquility, and the beauty of the natural world, capturing moments of peace and reflection. As an artist, my goal is to create pieces that not only beautify spaces but also inspire and evoke thought. My art is an invitation to step into my world—one where imagination and nature intertwine.
