Disruption

“Disruption” is inspired by my deep love for Queensland. Every time we visit, I feel happy, warm, and alive. The colours, the light, the energy—it all fills me with joy. But there’s also a raw, unpredictable side to this beauty: the force of cyclones, floods, and tropical storms that sweep through the landscape without warning.

This painting captures that emotional contrast—where calm is suddenly broken and the familiar becomes wild and untamed. Rich layers of magenta, plum, blush pink, and ivory move fluidly across the canvas, interrupted by expressive marks and textures. The composition reflects the beauty and tension of nature’s disruptions, and how they mirror the unexpected moments in life.

Framed in natural timber with a smooth matte finish, Disruption is a bold, evocative statement piece—filled with motion, colour, and emotional energy. It invites the viewer to embrace transformation, to find grace even in chaos.

I am an abstract artist, living with my family in Melbourne.
Growing up in Poland, I was always a creative soul, but the real passion for creating and painting only came to light when I moved into my first apartment.
I was inspired to paint and make the empty walls aesthetically pleasing.
I bought acrylic paints and started frantically painting, thus began the start of my journey!
Due to shyness, my artwork has only recently become more visible to my friends and family. However, last year was my first art exhibition in a local prestigious art show. I received such wonderful feedback that it finally made me recognised as an artist.
Painting gives me joy, satisfaction and motivation to continue doing what I truly love.
