Artwork Description

Watercolour on paper

Signed on the front.

"Winter Camelias Illustration" was inspired by two Sasanqua Camelia bushes I have growing side by side together in my backyard. I just wanted to capture their delicate petals, their leaves as well as their lovely yellow centres with the use of watercolours.
Original painting created in December 2023. Signed on the front.
Artist quality Daniel Smith watercolours on Baohong 100% archival cotton rag. Requires mat and frame for protection.
Styled scene, hanging and in situ setting with or without mat and frame is for display purposes only and is not to scale. Just to give you an idea of how this sweet floral artwork may look on your wall.
Signed Certificate of Authenticity is included.
Please note: Background is the pure white of the watercolour paper.

Coastal Erosion is an abstract painting featuring vibrant blues, turquoise and gold which when mixed, created a dynamic fluid effect. It has an energetic vibrant mood due to its bright colour palette and dynamic patterns.a conceptual piece of abstract design with patterns and textures of organic cells in our universe in vibrant coloursa misty spring day in the old mining village of Hill End with an old miners cottage with rusty roofs and chimney stacks surrounded by natural shrubs, grasses and trees with a hint of blooming jacaranda treesLilies is a vibrant painting of pink lilies against a colourful abstract background of blues and greens with some touches of yellows and pink, creating a dreamy atmosphere. Texture was created using visible brushstrokes adding movement to the composition. I love how the painting has an overall feel of being lively and colourful.
