Artwork Description

Primed matting Board

Signed on the front.

Frame options by request

Medusa, the most well known Gorgon, cursed by Hera for having hair so luxurious and silky that it caught the roving eye of Zeus. I am very intrigued by the story of Medusa, how she was traditionally seen as a beast to have her head cut off and never deserving empathy or pity. I am glad I have seen more of a discussion around her and that her tragic story was undeserved.

Painted in oils on primed matt board. This piece will need to be framed in order to hang on a wall. Please contact me if you require a quote from my local framer before it is paid and shipped, alternatively it can be placed in an ordinary picture frame or professionally done by your local framers.
