Hello! My name is Muge Aydin and color-inspired abstract artist in Melbourne. As I have an architectural background, I am passionate about making designs into reality. I have started painting few years ago as my mum is the person who inspired me the most. She was an amazing painting artist from Istanbul.
My paintings are mainly acrylic on canvas and applied in layers with a sense of dynamism and transparency, a balance of energy and calm, a contrast between bold and spacious.I intent for my paintings to be my abstract expression of empowering feelings of personal strength, freedom, love and evolution. In my paintings there are some gentle hints from nature, from elements and forms I love such as florals, leaves, water.Some of these are highly abstracted while I work and not necessarily obvious to see in the end result, as they are more of an imaginative abstraction or rather my own “feeling” of such natural forms as I paint.
