Myffie is a self-taught contemporary artist who has had a lifetime interest in art. She is one of the Mid North Coasts highly acclaimed artists having been awarded 18 art prizes in the past ten years. She has also had ten solo exhibitions and several group exhibitions.
She first started drawing as a young girl when her grandmother suggested she draw some of the flowers in her beautiful garden. Growing up in the bush, Nature has always been her happy place and inspiration for her art.
Her art is evocative and emotional. Dancing brushstrokes are a testament to her joyful abandon in her music filled studio- the curves and lines of animals, rivers and trees an homage to the nature she loves .
Her style is contemporary and often impressionistic with subdued colours and tones.
Myffie loves painting in her studio six days a week with her beautiful Border Collie Billy by her side
