Sometimes I don't always get it right the first time when expressing an idea or thought through paint.
This painting has gone through many iterations before reaching its final form. From lovers kissing on a beach to an abstracted mountain landscape, I smooshed and smeared the paint using that as texture as a contrast against more opaque brush strokes.
So although the outcome is fairly minimal, it has layers and histories hidden beneath.
