Artwork Description

Beautiful story of my Grandparents and their journey in Sealife...

Stretched canvas ready to stretch..
Comes with Artist's First People Authenticity letter and gift

Story :
Tasmania (Palawa ) is where I was born and both my parents Traditionally connect to 2 Tribes . Each Tribe traditionally searched for shells, wood, insects, jellyfish and hunting from the rich Sealife provide for themselves and family. Many stories were told of my Grandparents hiding their belongings in the sand for a future date of return. This practice reminds me to look at the sand as not just a source of fun and enjoyment, but a historic place where treasure may still be buried.

The Ocean for us is a beautiful connection to our souls. We look and learn and as we let the water heal, protect and teach us our Strength grows.
This is the 4th in the Series of 6 paintings of Ocean's Strength. Each one showing Significant Stories of my Aboriginal Ancestors lives back in time, in the now and of the future. We are One together in story and soul.
It has been on stretched boards but was selected to be on show at the Darwin Aboriginal Art Show last year. It is ready to be framed or stretched onto your wall..

My hope is that this painting inspires you to connect with everything on the beach and in the ocean. It gives you peace and comfort and a deeper respect for caring for our Country. That it is displayed in a room that all who visit you can see and share in it’s wisdom and gain STRENGTH.
