Artwork Description

I painted 6 original 1.6 X 1.5 art pieces of the Ocean and beach life series as first large Art Works. One was in Peta Murphy MP's office until she passed in December... It helped so many people be inspired, stay calm and connect and work with each respectfully and kindly...

They have all SOLD and this is the first in the "Shell Treasures Abounding " series.

STORY:

"I hold in my heart the stories of my Grandparents living along the beaches burying their belongings in the sand for protection. They travelled around and returned to collect these items at each beach. This practice reminds me to look at the sand as not just a source of fun and enjoyment, but as a historic place where old treasures may still be. In this painting I am imagining all the wonderous shells, driftwood, mussels, fish and many types of treasures around that my Ancestors saw.

My new hope is that this painting inspires you and your Mob's , to look at all the beautiful sea life and keep respecting the environment.”
