Leyva

This painting is part of my series 'iterations'. A series containing 10 small emotive stories that talk about the balance between nature and manmade building objects. This one is a composition where a colonial wall is a stage for a floating animal head and an Adanson's Monstera plant. These objects are part of experiences throughout my life that mix up together in my head. In my early years I lived in Villa de Leyva, a small colonial town in Colombia full of magic.
