'Bushland Gully Abstract In Green' is painted from a childhood memory of walking down a winding tunnel of overlapping trees and vines in a nearby gully at dusk. The glow worms twinkled, creating a magical scene in the near darkness. The intentional blurring intends to pull the viewer into a wild bushland setting with abstract creepers embellished with thick foliage and flowers. The combination of Australian subtropical bush colours in vibrant green, sage and olive come alive against bright licks of salmon pink, pthtalo blue and teal. This one off painting has been sealed protection with a UV varnish.
