Artwork Description

This calming yet vibrant original work comes stretched and ready to hang, or select a frame of your choice before checking out. The mass of blueberry and white poppies are so thickly painted that the petals cast their own shadows. These textured areas tempt the viewer to lean in close for a truly immersive experience. The rich olive background is the colour of antique velvet and quite lush. Naomi's signature sweeping brushstrokes and calligraphic freehand marks are evident in this one off statement piece. It has a soothing yet energising coastal farmhouse feel.
Naomi Crowther's studio is on the Far South Coast of NSW and takes cues from coastal gardens as inspiration for this artwork.
