Artwork Description

'Coastal Reflection with Casuarina' is a textured abstract fine art original depicting a cluster of Australian coastal casuarina, or she-oak, above calm tidal waterway, a place for contemplation and reflection. Ocean blue, olive and teal, along with hints of turquoise, intermingle with crisp lime and granite blue to make a tranquil yet energised scene. Crowther's personal experiences on and around tidal waterways are translated through her signature brushstrokes, evoking a sense of quiet reverie. Time spent in nature is the main theme in Naomi's work, exploring the positive effects of the natural world on the human condition.
'Coastal Reflection with Casuarina' represents taking time in nature, where bush meets water, to reflect deeply on the world around me, connections within it and with each other, about what is important to me and why.' - Naomi
