Artwork Description

'Escape to the Ocean' is a contemporary, gestural fine art abstract, and forms part of Naomi's 'Oceanic' collection. Two white yachts are under sail, out on the horizon. Soothing duck egg blue, navy and ochre work in with dreamy whites and coffee hues. Naomi's dynamic brushstrokes and calligraphic freehand marks urge the viewer to lean in close.

Important to note: 4cm deep sides are painted to give that gallery look when unframed. If you select framing (Bluethumb makes this both super easy and streamlined) the suggested look for this work is a natural oak or black frame.

Naomi Crowther's studio is on the Far South Coast of NSW, and she takes cues from a local walks as inspiration for this artwork.
