Artwork Description

Garden Arabesque in Blue is inspired by the glow of white foliage, flowers and leaning stems at dusk as the evening settles on the garden. Olive greens turn into rich indigo blue before fading into the dark of night. the las glimmers of gold create abstract shapes and trick the eye. Was that a movement in the distance? A neighbour's cat sneaking about, or a possum coming to steal from the bird feeder? This bold yet elegant painting is a one-off fine art abstract, and part of Naomi's popular botanical collection. A combination of muted Australian bush colours in navy, olive and indigo with pops of metallic gold against an Australian blue sky background. The abstract white lines cut through creating a contemporary art look and feel.

When you're out in the bush, and everything is flowering, it's like a visual version of a song. Some colours work in unison and others show off loudly. Sweeping brushstrokes and calligraphic freehand marks create a movement and flow for an energetic, botanical party inspired statement piece for your room. The work is painted in acrylic with heavy impasto giving some areas a 3D effect. It has been sealed protection.
