Artwork Description

The poor old ibis often gets a bad wrap in urban areas. Here in the ochre landscape of the Australian outback the ibis are in their element. The vast river flat behind them has partially filled with fresh water after the rain. Earthy rich ochre, blush pink, duck egg blue and sage green make up this large statement piece.

Note: There are gentle folds catching the light on the right above the ibis, this will disappear once stretched. It has been photographed unstretched hence the slight undulations in the canvas. The size is 225cm x 105cm when stretched. There is a large 7.5cm border allowed for stretching on top of these given measurements.

Comes UNSTRETCHED and rolled in a tube, or select STRETCHED to order it ready to hang. Add a FRAME (Bluethumb makes this super easy and streamlined) the artist recommends natural or black timber frame for this painting.
