Artwork Description

Naomi Crowther's joyful diptych (set of two) original artworks 'Saltwood Poppies' are painted using a palette knife and thick impasto paint to create 3D raised petals on the blooms. Metallic leaf catches the light as you walk past, with swathes of white poppies on a background of denim blue, teal and pops of fresh green adding colour and vibrancy to your space.

Set of two paintings, each one measures 40.5cm high x 50.5cm wide x 3.8cm deep.
Together they measure 40.5cm high x 101cm wide x 3.8cm deep. Add a 5-10cm centre gap.

These artworks both have painted edges, ready to hang, and come with a signed Certificate of Authenticity. The price is for the set of two. The signature is on the lower left front, and both are signed, titled and dates verso (on the back).

Naomi is a multidisciplinary artist working in impasto acrylics, metallic leaf, cyanotypes and hand cut paper. BA Visual Arts ANU (first year only). Diploma of Interior Design RMIT. Her poppies series is licensed across several Australian Defence Force memorabilia brands. The latest lotus series is inspired by a sizeable lotus pond at her rural shared studio near Mogo, NSW. Waterways and rugged beaches near her Surf Beach home and main studio influence the artist's coastal abstract works and oyster series.
