This wildly playful, large scale painting is a one-off fine art abstract, ombining themes from Naomi's popular botanical and seaweed collections. A combo of Australian marine colours in rich blues and greens with a kaleidescope of smaller highlight colours from orange, lime and scarlet, to pops of yellow and purple against an abstract seaweed/ocean background. The sense of motion in the composition creates a wild dancing atmosphere, with frolicking foliage and swaying stems, with anemones moving in blissful abandon. The darker greens, such as teal and emerald hues, add a sense of drama. Creatures emerge from the tangle. Was that a lobster? Or a striped sea snake? Sweeping brushstrokes and calligraphic freehand marks create movement and flow in this energetic, underwater dance-party inspired statement piece. The artwork is painted in acrylic with details in oil pigment sticks. It has been sealed protection.
